Ecostorm footage obtained on behalf of Portuguese pressure group Animal is to be featured in a forthcoming RDF-produced documentary examining the global fur trade on Channel 4. The footage, obtained during an undercover investigation into Portugal's secret trade in rabbit fur, was originally released in late 2006 and revealed – for the first time – the entire rabbit fur production process, from breeding and rearing, to transport, slaughter and export for manufacture into clothing and fashion accessories. The Channel 4 film is scheduled for release in late March.
